Microsoft has Acquired ADRM Software
Redmond, WA – 18th June 2020 - Microsoft has acquired ADRM Software, a data analytics firm that builds models for businesses and industry services. Announcing the deal in a blog, Ravi Krishnaswamy, CVP, Azure Global Industry, said: “Data and AI are the foundation of modern technological innovation, yet businesses today struggle to unlock the full value data has to offer as fragmented data estates hinder digital transformation. Without a comprehensive and integrated view of their data, companies are at a competitive disadvantage, which hinders digital adoption and data-driven innovation. Today, we are excited to announce the acquisition of ADRM Software, a leading provider of large-scale industry data models, which are used by large companies worldwide as information blueprints. ADRM’s robust industry data models have been built and refined over decades for business-critical analytics.” Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

MTBC Acquires Meridian Medical Management, a Former GE Healthcare IT Company
Somerset, NJ - 17th June 2020 - MTBC, Inc, a provider of cloud-based healthcare IT solutions and services, has announced the closing of its acquisition of Meridian Medical Management, a former GE Healthcare IT company that delivers advanced healthcare information technology solutions and services to thousands of healthcare providers nationwide. Stephen Snyder, CEO of MTBC, said: “Meridian is our largest acquisition to date. We expect to provide increased revenue guidance as part of our second quarter investors call as a result of this transaction. We also believe that Meridian’s team, digital assets, and customer base will help further accelerate our growth and margin expansion during 2021 and beyond.”

IBM Acquires Assets from Spanugo
Armonk, New York – 15th June 2020 - IBM has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Spanugo, a US-based provider of cloud cybersecurity posture management solutions. To further meet the security demands of its clients in highly regulated industries, IBM will integrate Spanugo software into its public cloud. The addition of Spanugo software will help accelerate the availability of a security control center that will enable IBM clients to define compliance profiles, manage controls and, in continuous real time, monitor compliance across their organization. "IBM is committed to building the industry's most secure and open public cloud for business. With the acquisition of Spanugo, we have taken another major step in advancing IBM's differentiated capabilities in security and compliance for our enterprise clients, including those in highly regulated industries," said Howard Boville, SVP, Cloud, IBM. "Bringing Spanugo's technology into our financial services public cloud will help provide our clients with evidence of their ongoing compliance, in real time."

Demandbase Acquires Engagio to Reshape the B2B Martech Industry
San Francisco, CA – 16th June 2020 - Account-Based Marketing (ABM) company, Demandbase, has announced the company has acquired Engagio, the B2B account-based engagement platform. The acquisition positions Demandbase to become the dominant B2B marketing platform company in the ABM space. Perficient Announces Acquisition of PSL
Saint Louis – 17th June 2020 - Digital consultancy transforming the world’s largest enterprises and biggest brands, Perficient, Inc., has announced the acquisition of Productora de Software S.A.S. (“PSL”), a $33 million annual revenue nearshore software development company, based in Medellin, Colombia, with additional locations in Bogota and Cali, Colombia. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share immediately.  Perficient’s Chairman & CEO, Jeffrey Davis, said: “We are excited to strengthen our global delivery capabilities with the strategic acquisition of nearshore software development firm PSL. SiriusXM Acquires Podcast Management and Analytics Platform Simplecast
New York – 17th June 2020 - SiriusXM has announced the acquisition of Simplecast, a podcast management platform that enables podcasters to publish, manage and measure their content.  The Simplecast solution, paired with the award-winning monetization platform of AdsWizz, the adtech subsidiary of SiriusXM, creates an end-to-end solution that enables creators to publish and generate revenue from their podcasts, all in one place. Led by Founder & CEO, Brad Smith, the Simplecast platform is employed by a wide range of creators, from enterprise-level publishers and networks to independent niche podcasters. With its content management, audience analytics and dynamic audio toolset, MAE (Moveable Audio Engine), it has attracted some of the largest and most highly respected brands and publishers. Accenture Announces Intent to Acquire Sentelis
Paris – 15th June 2020 – Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Sentelis, an independent data consulting and engineering company, headquartered in France, that specializes in designing and scaling data and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Sentelis would join Accenture Applied Intelligence and complement its focus on helping clients build the right data strategy and foundation to industrialize AI across their businesses. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture’s growing analytics, AI and ML/data engineering business in France. Global growth in AI client engagements has also served as a driver for Accenture’s recent acquisitions of Analytics8 in Australia, Pragsis Bidoop in Spain, Clarity Insights in North America, Mudano in the UK and Byte Prophecy in India.

Net Element to Merge with Electric Vehicle Company Mullen Technologies
Miami, FL – 15th June 2020 - Net Element, Inc, a global technology and value-added solutions group that supports electronic payments acceptance in a multi-channel environment including point-of-sale, e-commerce and mobile devices, has announced that it has entered into a binding Letter of Intent to merge with privately-held Mullen Technologies, Inc, a Southern California-based electric vehicle company in a stock-for-stock reverse merger in which Mullen's stockholders will receive the majority of the outstanding stock in the post-merger Company. Founded in 2014, Mullen expects to launch the Dragonfly K50, a luxury sports car, in the first half of 2021 through ICI (Independent Commercial Importers). Mullen currently has eight retail locations in California and one in Arizona.

Anaqua Acquires O P Solutions to Expand and Enhance IP Practice Management Offerings

Sinch Acquires ACL Mobile Expands to India
Stockholm, Sweden – 15th June 2020 - Sinch AB, a company specialising in cloud communications for mobile customer engagement, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ACL Mobile Limited for a total cash consideration of INR 5,350 million. ACL Mobile is a provider of cloud communications services in India and Southeast Asia. Its platform enables businesses to interact with their customers through multiple channels, including SMS, voice, email, IP messaging and WhatsApp. The company serves more than 500 enterprise customers and is particularly successful in the Banking and Financial Services industry, where ACL’s proprietary Axiom platform offers intelligent routing and granular access controls that specifically caters to the stringent security requirements of demanding financial institutions. The company employs 288 people with headquarters in Delhi and overseas offices in Dubai (UAE) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Calligo acquires Itomic Voice & Data
Dublin & Cork, Ireland - 16th June - Caligo, the world’s first end-to-end managed data services provider, has announced it has acquired Itomic Voice & Data Ltd., a Cork- and Dublin-based IT managed services provider, specialising in delivering IT solutions and maintenance and managed Microsoft 365 and Azure services nationwide. The purchase of Itomic Voice & Data is Calligo’s seventh acquisition in three years and follows January 2020’s acquisition of Dublin-based DC Networks. These two acquisitions combine to make Calligo one of the largest IT managed service providers in Ireland, and the only one to offer data privacy support at the heart of every service. Caligo has operations in Ireland, Canada, the US, the UK, the Channel Islands and Luxembourg, with customers worldwide. Commenting, Julian Box, Founder and CEO of Calligo, said: “We focused our current expansion strategy on Ireland because of its growing number of innovative businesses developing new data-reliant tools and services.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Babel Street Acquires Dunami
Washington – 8th June 2020 - Babel Street, Inc., a data-to-knowledge company, has announced it has acquired all of the intellectual property assets of Dunami. The acquired technology leverages advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to swiftly understand topics and thought leaders as well as conduct relationship analysis of associated networks and audiences. The technology automatically compiles and visualizes these relationships enabling more fulsome analysis. Specifically, it will help users identify the intersection of key trends and influential voices from publicly available information (PAI) across more than 200 languages. The IP will be integrated into the Babel Street product suite -- Babel X® and Babel BOX®. While the integration is already underway, the technology is available as a stand-alone offering to Babel Street customers. ReNew Power Acquires Climate Connect
