Hyland enters definitive agreement to acquire Alfresco
Boston - 9th September 2020 - Content services provider, Hyland, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Alfresco, a content services platform and solutions provider. The transaction, expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2020, is subject to usual and customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Headquartered in Boston, Alfresco develops a modern, cloud-native Digital Business Platform that delivers content services solutions to connect, manage and protect organizations’ most critical information. Upon transaction close, the entire Alfresco business is expected to be managed under Hyland Software, Inc. Omnitracs Expands its Platform Offering With Acquisition of SmartDrive
Dallas & San Diego - Pioneer in transportation technology, Omnitracs, LLC, a SaaS-based fleet management and data analytics solutions company, and SmartDrive, a company offering video-based safety and transportation intelligence, have announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for Omnitracs to acquire SmartDrive. Ligand Expands Omniab® Antibody Discovery Platform Through the Acquisitions of Xcella Biosciences and Taurus Biosciences
San Diego – 10th September 2020 - Ligand Pharmaceuticals Incorporated announces the acquisition of two privately held companies that strengthen and complement its OmniAb® technology platform. Ligand acquired xCella Biosciences, Inc. for $7 million in cash plus potential earnouts, and acquired Taurus Biosciences LLC for $5 million in cash plus non-transferable contingent value rights (CVRs). In addition, Ligand will invest $2.5 million in a new company, Minotaur Therapeutics, which will be led by Taurus Biosciences’ founder, in exchange for royalties on products from future programs.
With the addition of these two companies, Ligand has secured a technology to further enhance its single B cell screening platform as well as technologies to discover and humanize antibodies from immunized cows or cow-derived libraries. Chief Executive Officer of Ligand, John Higgins, said: “Bringing the capabilities and intellectual property of these two companies into Ligand will strengthen our antibody discovery capabilities, in particular our OmniChicken® platform. NexTech AR Acquires Fast-Growing Profitable Amazon eCommerce Launch Platform

Secureworks Acquires Vulnerability Management Platform Delve Laboratories Inc

Progressive Care Enters into Letter of Intent to Acquire Telehealth Service Provider MyApps Corp.

Canadian Firm Lightspeed Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering in The United States
Montreal – 10th September 2020 - Lightspeed POS Inc. has announced the pricing of its previously-announced marketed public offering of subordinate voting shares in the United States and Canada. The underwriters have agreed to purchase, at a price of US$30.50 per share, an aggregate of 10,000,000 subordinate voting shares from the Company and 1,650,000 subordinate voting shares from Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec ("Caisse"), for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of US$305,000,000 and to Caisse of US$50,325,000.
