Kroll Expands Cyber Risk Practice in APAC with Acquisition of RP Digital Security
Singapore – 10th January 2020 - Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, a risk mitigation company, investigations, compliance, cyber resilience, security and incident response solutions, has announced that it has expanded its cyber security offerings with the acquisition of RP Digital Security, a Singapore-headquartered leader in computer forensic investigations, digital security and eDiscovery services. RP Digital Security serves some of the largest law firms, financial institutions and insurance providers in the region. The company has deep cyber investigation experience, including data breach, ransomware, business email compromise and internal employee investigations, and provides remediation and recovery guidance. The RP Digital Security team will join Kroll’s Asia Pacific Cyber Risk practice, led by Managing Director and Asia Pacific leader Paul Jackson.

Synopsys Acquires Tinfoil Security to Expand DAST and Add API Security Testing
Mountain View, California – 9th January 2020  - Synopsys, Inc. has announced it has completed the acquisition of Tinfoil Security, an innovative provider of dynamic application security testing (DAST) and Application Program Interface (API) security testing solutions, headquartered in Mountain View, California. Insight Partners to Acquire Veeam for $5 Million
9th January 2020 - Software investor, Insight Partners, has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Veeam Software, a company that offers Backup solutions that deliver Cloud Data Management™. Under the ownership of Insight Partners, Veeam will become a U.S. company, with a U.S.-based leadership team, while continuing its global expansion from offices in 30 countries and with customers in over 160 countries. ​Ness Digital Engineering Acquires CassaCloud
Teaneck, NJ – 8th January 2020 – Ness Digital Engineering, a provider of digital transformation and custom software engineering services, has announced its acquisition of CassaCloud, a Kosice, Slovakia-based consultancy with expertise in Salesforce implementation, customization and integration services for multiple Salesforce modules. Rockwell Automation to Acquire Avnet to Expand Cybersecurity Expertise
Milwaukee - 8th January 2020 - Rockwell Automation, Inc. has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire privately held Avnet Data Security, Ltd, an Israeli-based cybersecurity provider with over 20 years of experience providing cybersecurity services. Avnet offers a full set of IT/OT cyber services and solutions ranging from assessments, penetration testing, network & security solutions, and training to converged IT/OT managed services. Perficient Announces Acquisition of MedTouch

Insight Partners Acquires Armis at a $1.1 Billion Valuation
Palo Alto – 6th January 2020 — Armis, an enterprise IoT security, has announced that it has agreed to be acquired by Insight Partners, a global software investor, respected for its track record of scaling up industry disruptors, to further strengthen its market dominance in unmanaged device security. Under the terms of the agreement, Insight will acquire the company for cash at a valuation of $1.1 billion, with participation from CapitalG for $100 million and rollover from certain existing stockholders. Armis will continue to operate independently and will be fully managed by its two co-founders, Yevgeny Dibrov, CEO, and Nadir Izrael, CTO, and executive team, while leveraging the support of Insight’s industry leading business strategy and ScaleUp division. Govtech Company Accela Announces Sale of Springbrook Software as High-Demand Core Business Continues to Grow

Trinity Hunt Partners Announces Acquisition of Dataprise
