Deltix Announces Acquisition by EPAM Systems, Inc.
20th March 2020 - Deltix, Inc. has announced that it has been acquired by EPAM Systems, Inc. global a provider of digital platform engineering and software development solutions. As part of EPAM, Deltix will form a real-time computing lab that provides a center of excellence for industry-leading, real-time event processing and analytics. The lab will focus on capital marketing trading, risk and market data, as well as crypto trading, IoT and real-time signal processing. “We are pleased to welcome Deltix to EPAM. Ethos Group Acquires Pinnacle Document Solutions Group.
London - 19th March 2020 - The acquisition of the Welsh organisation further expands the Ethos Group's Managed Print business. Based in Cardiff, Wales, Pinnacle is a leading print and document solutions provider in the UK and Europe with over 30 years’ experience and supporting over 3,500 managed devices. As a fellow Xerox Platinum and HP Silver Partner, the acquisition of Pinnacle helps expand the Ethos Group’s print portfolio, further enhancing the bespoke service that Ethos can offer its customers whilst complementing and expanding its geographical reach. With a combined workforce of over 200 employees, annualised Group turnover will be in excess of £42M by the end of the next financial year whilst looking to maintain EBITDA at 18% of turnover. Sabio Group has acquired DVELP, a cloud software product and consultancy company
London - 16th March 2020 - Call centre solutions provider, Sabio, has acquired, London-headquartered, cloud software product and consultancy company, DVELP. Sabio, which is on a run of acquisitions having taken on Team vision in January, intends to become the premier independent customer experience and contact centre innovator, integrator and thought leader. Commenting on the transaction, Sabio Group CEO, Jonathan Gale, said: “CX focussed organisations have more technology choice than ever before. The contact centre and CRM spaces are rapidly evolving through the adoption of emerging technologies such as Google’s Contact Center AI and Twilio Flex. FusionCharts acquired by Idera Inc
Kolkata – 16th March 2020 - FusionCharts, a Kolkata-headquartered, bootstrapped data visualization solution provider has been acquired by US-based business software firm Idera Inc for an undisclosed amount. As part of this acquisition, FusionCharts will join Idera Inc's developer tools business unit that includes software productivity brands like Embarcadero, Lansa, Sencha, Whole Tomato and Froala. The deal terms or the acquisition size were not disclosed. “Data visualization plays a critical role in today’s software products. FusionCharts helps developers convert data into engaging visualizations with minimal effort and learning required," said Kegan Blumenthal, Idera’s general manager of FusionCharts, Sencha, and Froala "Charting expands Idera’s JavaScript developer reach and further solidifies our position as the go-to source for mission-critical JS components.”

Epic Games Acquires UK Facial Mapping Start-Up Cubic Motion
Cary, North Carolina - 13th March 2020 - Epic Games has announced that it has agreed to acquire Cubic Motion, a computer vision start-up that’s been building out a platform for capturing more realistic facial animations with a complex camera rig and software platform. The game studio behind Fortnite and the Unreal Engine  has already collaborated with the UK-based start-up, creating a number of tech demos over the past several years that have centered on translating an actor’s facial movements into a digital character in real-time. The start-up’s Persona product, which launched last year, bundles both its software and motion capture hardware rig. Cubic Motion’s technology has been used in recent blockbuster gaming titles such as Sony Interactive Entertainment’s “God of War” and Insomniac Games’ “Spider-Man”. The start-up will continue serving existing customers while also accelerating integrations between the company’s tech and Unreal Engine, the companies said in a press release. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
