Alfresco Acquires Content Services Specialist - Technology Services Group
Boston 17th March 2020 – Alfresco Software, an open source content services provider, has announced a strategic move to acquire long term partner, Technology Services Group (TSG), a Chicago based Enterprise Content Management software and services firm. TSG provides expert advice, services and solutions – including strategic advisory, application development, software engineering, and software products – to many prestigious clients in North America. Founded in 1996 and an Alfresco partner since 2006, TSG employs 45 full-time software engineers, industry specialists, and solutions experts. In addition to content management services, TSG provides no-code interfaces for case management, annotation, as well as additional massive scale options that leverage NoSQL approaches.

Verizon Business Enters into Agreement to Acquire BlueJeans
New York – 16th April 2020 - Verizon Business has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire BlueJeans Network, a trusted enterprise-grade video conferencing and event platform. The acquisition expands Verizon’s immersive unified communications portfolio. BlueJeans’ cloud-based video service currently serves a wide variety of business segments from small organizations to some of the world’s largest multinational brands and has played a significant part in continuing those companies’ operations during the ongoing work-from-home surge. MRI Software to Acquire Castleton Technology PLC in Deal Worth £82 Million
London – 15th April 2020 – MRI Software, a real estate software solutions company,has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Castleton Technology Plc, a provider of specialist software and services to the social housing sector. NVIDIA Gains Approval from China’s Antitrust Authority to Complete $6.9 Billion Mellanox Deal
Santa Clara, CA - 16th April 2020 - NVIDIA has announced that it has received approval from all necessary authorities to proceed with its planned acquisition of Mellanox, as announced in March 2019. The latest approval by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation follows antitrust approval from the European Commission and Mexico and the expiration of the waiting period under U.S. antitrust laws. With the exception of the remaining customary closing conditions, all conditions to the deal’s closing have been satisfied. NVIDIA announced on March 11, 2019, its intention to acquire Israel-based Mellanox for $125 per share in cash, or $6.9 billion, in a transaction that would combine NVIDIA’s leading computing expertise with Mellanox’s high-performance interconnect technology. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to NVIDIA’s non-GAAP gross margin, non-GAAP EPS and free cash flow. Closing is expected to occur on or about April 27, 2020.

Vela Software, Giant of the Canadian Group Constellation, Acquires Kurier
São Paulo – 14th April 2020 – Vela Software Group, an operating group of Canadian public company, Constellation Software Inc, has announced it has acquired Kurier, a pioneer in technology and legal intelligence. The acquisition enhances Vela’s presence in the Brazilian legal software market, following the acquisition of Aurum in 2019. Commenting, Kurier CEO, Salvatore Bruno, said that the acquisition by Vela will further strengthen Kurier’s business in the country, allowing for an expansion in the market, as well as greater investment in innovative technologies. He continued, “This achievement was only possible thanks to a serious and pioneering effort that produced an average growth of 20% per year for the past 5 years. During all this time we were innovators and launched several solutions that changed the lives of legal operators and those interested in information about the behavior of the Brazilian justice for the better.” This is Vela’s second acquisition in the Brazilian lawtech segment.  It is part of Vela’s strategy to maintain the company’s entire team, including executives, who will continue to lead the business, alongside Kurier’s whole staff. As well as Aurum, Kurier will also continue to operate independently, and with new partnerships in sight. “We have complementary products, there is a lot that we can do together in order to improve our solutions for the market”, comments Antônio Gerassi Neto, Aurum’s CEO.

MaxLinear to Acquire Intel’s Home Gateway Platform Division for $150 Million
Carlsbad, CA – 6th April 2020 - MaxLinear, Inc, provider of radio frequency (RF), analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for the connected home, wired and wireless infrastructure, and industrial and multimarket applications, has announced that MaxLinear and its wholly owned subsidiary have entered into a definitive agreement with Intel Corporation under which MaxLinear will acquire Intel’s Home Gateway Platform Division assets in an all-cash, asset transaction valued at $150 million. The Home Gateway Platform Division comprises Wi-Fi Access Points, Ethernet and Home Gateway SoC products deployed across operator and retail markets. The acquisition will enable MaxLinear to complement its existing portfolio, bringing together a complete and scalable platform of connectivity and access solutions for its customers across target end-markets, as well as creating potential new revenue opportunities in adjacent target end-markets. MaxLinear expects initially to add approximately $60 million to $70 million in quarterly revenue..

Aegis Technologies Acquires Cyber Security Firm, Excivity
Huntsville, AL - 6th April 2020 - Defense- and national security-focused engineering and technology firm AEgis Technologies has acquired technology provider Excivity, Inc. in a move AEgis says strengthens its cyber and intelligence mission area, according to an April 6 company announcement. The acquisition allows AEgis, an Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company, to expand its cyber and intelligence mission area with the addition of differentiated products and solutions, and an expanded customer base.
