Accenture to Acquire Avenai, Ottawa-based Business and Technology Consultancy
Ottawa – 7th October 2020 – Accenture has agreed to acquire Ottawa-based provider of consulting and technology services, Avenai. With Avenai’s significant focus on the public sector market, the acquisition will enhance Accenture’s capacity to drive the technology transformation taking place across the public sector in Canada. Financial terms were not disclosed. Mark Lambert, Managing Director and federal public service practice lead in Canada, said, “Government organizations are at a digital transformation tipping point, with many departments and agencies rapidly moving to the cloud and embracing new ways to modernize and improve delivery models and services for Canadians. Ping Identity Acquires Personal Identity Leader ShoCard to Revolutionize Privacy

Applied Industrial Technologies Acquires Advanced Control Solutions
Cleveland, OH - 7th October 2020 - Applied Industrial Technologies (AIT) has announced it has acquired Advanced Control Solutions (ACS), a provider of automation products, services and engineered solutions, focused on machine vision equipment and software, mobile and collaborative robotic solutions, intelligent sensors, logic controllers, and other related equipment. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “The addition of ACS extends and enhances our automation offering by providing next generation automation solutions through emerging technologies and specialized engineering services,” said Neil A. Accenture to Acquire Myrtle Consulting Group to Expand Implementation of New Digital Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain Models for Clients
New York & Houston – 6th October 2020 – Accenture has agreed to acquire Myrtle Consulting Group, an industrial operations consulting firm headquartered in Houston. Myrtle partners with companies across consumer products, life sciences, chemicals, mining and other heavy manufacturing industries to produce and distribute goods in a safer, more efficient and sustainable way. The acquisition will expand Accenture’s manufacturing and supply chain capabilities. Specifically, it will strengthen Accenture’s ability to transform these areas for clients from initial value assessments and operating model strategies to new business processes and technology solutions. Accenture Increases Cloud First Capabilities in Australia and New Zealand With Acquisition of SAP Specialist Provider Zag
Auckland, New Zealand – 5th October 2020 – Accenture has acquired New Zealand-based SAP and cloud solutions technology firm, Zag. The acquisition will bolster Accenture’s New Zealand and Australian digital transformation capabilities to meet increased demand from organisations migrating to the cloud and SAP’s next generation products. SAP Acquires Omnichannel Customer Engagement Company, Emarsys
Walldorf, Germany & Indianapolis, Indiana – 1st October 2020 - SAP SE has announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Emarsys, a leading omnichannel customer engagement platform provider. Emarsys enables businesses to engage more effectively and more personally with their customers. Inpixon to Acquire Nanotron, a Leader in IoT and UWB Technologies
Palo Alto, Caliornia & Toronto – 5th October 2020 – Inpixon, an indoor data company that delivers Indoor Intelligence™ solutions, has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Nanotron Technologies GmbH, a global location awareness technology company. The transaction is expected to increase Inpixon revenues by over $5 million on an annual basis and to be accretive. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Nanotron has established itself over the past two decades as a provider of innovative IoT solutions for real-time location systems (RTLS) and indoor and outdoor positioning solutions utilizing both industry-standard technologies, such as ultra-wideband (UWB), and patented proprietary wireless communication technologies, such as Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS).

Genpact Announces Agreement to Acquire Something Digital
New York – 5th October 2020 – Genpact, a global professional services firm, focused on delivering digital transformation, has announced the acquisition of Something Digital, which will expand its experience business, Rightpoint. Stonecourt Capital Acquires 365 Data Centers
Norwalk, CT – 6th October 2020 – 365 Data Centers, a provider of hybrid data center solutions, has announced that Stonecourt Capital LP has acquired the Company and original investors, Lumerity Capital and Longboat Advisors, have reinvested into the new partnership. Under the leadership of the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Bob DeSantis, 365 has developed into one of the largest, privately owned data center solutions providers, offering a comprehensive set of services to over 650 customers in the eastern United States. Since its inception in 2017, the Company has acquired, financed, and fully integrated four complementary businesses. Fortissimo Capital sells 50% of Priority Software holdings at a $250 million valuation
Tel Aviv, Israel – 5th October 2020 - Global growth private equity firm, TA Associates, has announced that it is acquiring 50% of Israeli ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software company, Priority Software Ltd, one of Yuval Cohen’s Fortissimo Capital’s portfolio companies. Though terms of the deal were undisclosed, it has been reported that the acquisition was based on a company valuation of $250 million. The fund had initially entered negotiations about investing in Priority a year ago, but the deal failed to materialize. Talks resumed in recent weeks, this time at an expedited pace, which led to the deal being finalized in recent days. “Priority Software is considered by many to be a market leader in the Israeli ERP space, and we believe that the company has significant untapped potential,” said Stefan Dandl, a Senior Vice President at TA Associates, who has joined the Priority Software Board of Directors. “Additionally, there is a significant opportunity for Priority Software to expand internationally in its addressable market through acquisitive and organic growth. We look forward to partnering with the Priority Software and Fortissimo teams in these growth efforts.”

Compass Agrees To Acquire Modus
New York & Seattle – 5th October 2020 - Compass, the real estate technology company, has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Modus, a title and escrow software start up. The Seattle-based company brings its 60+ person team and tech-driven closing process to Compass's end-to-end platform for real estate. Commenting, Compass CTO, Joseph Sirosh, said: "Modus is transforming title and escrow from an offline, antiquated undertaking into a transparent tech-enabled solution that saves real estate agents time by simplifying the entire closing process.
