Wipro to Acquire Salesforce Cloud Partner, 4C

Autodesk to Acquire AI-Powered Construction Software Provider Pype
San Rafael, California - 22nd July 22, 2020 - Autodesk, Inc. has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pype, a provider of cloud-based solutions for automating construction project management workflows. The acquisition will empower general contractors, subcontractors and owners to gain even more value from Autodesk Construction Cloud by automating critical construction workflows such as submittals and closeouts to increase productivity and mitigate project risk. Pype’s suite of software reduces tedious manual entry and human error that can lead to rework, cost overruns and schedule delays on construction projects. The company’s technology leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to automatically analyze and extract critical construction data such as project plans and specifications to be used throughout the project lifecycle. By automating these traditional manual workflows and converting real-time data into actionable insights, construction teams have the power to increase collaboration and project efficiency. PicsArt Acquires Motion-Based Video Effects Company D’efekt
San Francisco – 22nd July 2020 - PicsArt, the world’s largest visual creative platform, has announced that it has acquired advanced video effects company D'efekt. The deal Reinforces PicsArt’s Commitment to AI Innovation and will bring enhanced visual storytelling to its 150 million-strong creator base. The female-led start-up has been featured as an Apple “App of the Day” and offers motion-based video effects – including light illusions, music responsiveness, and fractal motion-activation. D’efekt’s three co-founders will continue to build the independent app with further resource investment from PicsArt. Cisco Systems and Acacia Communications Provide Status Update of Pending Acquisition
San Jose, California and Maynard, Massachusetts – 22nd July 2020 — Cisco Systems, Inc. and Acacia Communications, Inc. (have issued a joint statement on the status of the ongoing regulatory review for the pending acquisition of Acacia by Cisco that is being conducted by the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People’s Republic of China (“SAMR”). Cisco and Acacia remain actively engaged with SAMR and expect the acquisition to receive regulatory clearance. Synaptics to Acquire DisplayLink for $305 Million
San Jose, California – 20th July 2020 – Synaptics Incorporated has announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire DisplayLink Corp., a leader in high-performance video compression technology, for $305 million in an all-cash transaction. The deal is expected to close in Synaptics’ first quarter of fiscal year 2021, subject to customary closing conditions, and be financed from existing cash on hand. Synaptics expects the transaction to add approximately $94 million in annualized sales and be immediately accretive to non-GAAP gross margins, non-GAAP operating margins, and non-GAAP earnings post-close. DisplayLink’s high performance software compression technology enables universal docking and casting of high bandwidth video from any device to any display using any transport medium such as USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi. For the Enterprise IT market, the solution supports multi-OS environments including Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS and Ubuntu Linux enabling a myriad of devices to seamlessly dock to multiple high resolution (4K, 8K) displays.

Majesco to be Acquired by Thoma Bravo for $594 Million
Morristown, NJ – 20th July 2020 – Majesco, a global enterprise providing cloud insurance software solutions for insurance business transformation, has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Thoma Bravo, L.P., a leading private equity firm focused on the software and technology-enabled services sectors, in a transaction valuing the company at $594 million. SUSE to Acquire Rancher Labs
London and Cupertino, California - 8th July 2020 - SUSE, the world’s largest independent open source company, has announced that it has acquired Rancher Labs, a company that has long focused on making it easier for enterprises to make their container clusters. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Rancher has a total of $95 million in investments. Discussing the acquisition, Melissa Di Donato, SUSE CEO, said: "This is an incredible moment for our industry, as two open source leaders are joining forces.
